What is the Halloween Monster Dash:

A Halloween-themed 5k and Fun Run involving a costume contest and candy treats along the course. This is a unique themed-run which celebrates health, an active lifestyle and the changing of the seasons while getting to still eat some chocolate!  Each participant will be given a Halloween Monster Dash candy bag and there will be several candy stations along the course to gather candy. Now how fun is that…

This event is less about your minute per mile time, but more about having the time of your life…it’s not who finishes first.  Although the event is not officially timed, we know some will be racing for a time and that is fine The event is about dressing up in the craziest, scariest and most creative costumes on the planet and coming out to do some exercising and collecting some candy along the way! What better way for a family to go trick or treat and have a healthy experience. Or for all those who are going to make a day of it what better way than to dress up with your roommates or training partners, have some fun for a couple of hours and then you’re right in the heart of the entertainment district and the night is still young!

Owner and Pet Category:

Be creative with the costume and make sure your friend is a small domesticated four-legged friend.  Leashes are a must unless of course you have a personal carrier, stroller or backpack!

  • Scariest, Most Creative and Wildest
  • Owner/Pet – Most Creative

Candy Stations

One of the main reasons you’re going to dress up and walk, run, jog on Halloween is the candy! We’re going to be listing all the great sponsors and businesses who will be providing lots and lots of candy along the way.
